As we commemorate the World Interfaith Harmony Week, we invite you to join us in requesting the United Nations Secretary-General to ring the UN Peace Bell on 6 August 2025, to remember the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, and to reinforce the founding principles of the United Nations.
Voices for a World Free of Nuclear Weapons (Voices), an active part of the United Religions Initiative, began Nuclear Prayer Day on 6 August 2022 to remember the past and to create a safer future.

To recognize the Treaties, Resolutions and work of the UN in promote nuclear disarmament and abolition,
We request the UN to ring the UN Peace Bell on 6 August as a very special way to call for a world that never uses nuclear weapons again.
