On August 6, 1945, at 8:15 AM, the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. Since then, the potential for nuclear catastrophe has grown to an unimaginable scale. On the 77th anniversary of that horrific tragedy, Voice's members and co-hosts inaugurated the 1st annual Nuclear Prayer Day at 8:15 AM PST on August 6, 2022. This inaugural video and its message of urgency, the power of prayer, and hope for peace, spread beyond the live stream and was a part of many Nuclear Prayer Day events including the NPT review at the U.N. in New York on August 5th.

People all over the world united in prayer for a world free of nuclear weapons. It was a truly moving event that reached well over 100,000 people. We hope the global reach of our prayers continues to grow with each annual Nuclear Prayer Day. Stay tuned for details on next year's event.
